- The alleged renderings of the OnePlus Nord 2 have leaked.
- The design of the phone seems to be largely inspired by the OnePlus 9 series.
Leaks warn that the renderings are based on an early CAD prototype, so you can expect slight differences in the final OnePlus Nord 2 that hits the market.
Nevertheless, the design of the new North closely resembles that of the Oneplus 9 and the recent announcement OnePlus Nord N200. It has a similar array of cameras stacked vertically on the back and a perforated screen on the front. The bezels are narrow and the phone sports the power button as well as the trademark alert slider on the right edge. The volume keys are located on the left side of the device.
Additionally, the latest OnePlus Nord 2 renderings show a triple camera system on the rear. Previously leaked specs suggested that the phone would get a 50MP main sensor paired with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor and another 2MP. A 32MP selfie snapper should reside in the screen’s punch hole.
As for the ports, the renderings of the OnePlus Nord 2 depict a USB-C connector at the bottom. The phone doesn’t appear to have a 3.5mm headphone jack, but neither does the original North.
OnePlus Nord 2 rumored specifications
Under the hood, the Nord 2 is supposed to carry the MediaTek dimension 1200 SoC. Other previously leaked specs include a 6.43-inch 90Hz AMOLED display, 4,500mAh battery, 30W or 65W charging, and Android 11.
