Google Pixel 4 drops to all-time low of $ 400 on Amazon

Don’t despair if you yearned for a budget Google phone but wanted something more powerful than the current Pixel line. Amazon sells the 64 GB Pixel 4 for only $ 400, with B&H Photo corresponding to this price. This is a historic low for the old flagship, and makes it more affordable than a new one. Pixel 4a 5G – to consider if the processing power is more important than the latest wireless technology.

You can also buy the 128GB version at a reduced price at both sites, although B&H currently has a better deal at $ 430 compared to Amazon’s $ 470.

There are a few caveats. The Pixel 4 is almost two years old, so it won’t be getting many Android updates anymore (Android 12 is one of them). Battery life and screen brightness are strictly average. And Google’s Motion Sense gesture feature never really worked – it’s a nice bonus, but not something you’ll likely use on a daily basis.

In return, however, this could be a better value than the current Pixel 4a. and 5 models, especially with the premium Pixel 6 probable series on the horizon. You get a relatively fast device with a smooth display and cameras that still perform as well as or less than slower, typically less capable phones. As long as you can live with the quirks, it might provide a better overall experience.
