When it comes to phone built-in storage, the most common we’ve seen is 512GB. Sure, there are phones here and there that offer 1TB, but that’s pretty rare. However, Apple could potentially join that exclusive club this year with the iPhone 13, at least that’s what Wedbush analysts think.
It’s actually not the first time we’ve heard about the possibility of a 1TB iPhone 13. It was late last year that leaker Jon Prosser alludes to configuration, although some think that a 1TB iPhone may not arrive until 2022, but anyway, we’ll have to wait for the official announcement for more details.
That being said, we have to say that 1TB smartphones are all about when, not if. This is because as our phones become more powerful and have cameras capable of taking high quality photos whether we like it or not, we will need more space to host apps and games that can hold many high resolution textures, as well as photos and videos which are also shot in very high resolution.
We would hate to think how much a 1TB iPhone could cost. Apple iPhones aren’t already the cheapest smartphones in the world, and with the most expensive iPhone setup already priced at $ 1,400, we imagine a 1TB iPhone could probably cost around $ 1,800.
