The best dress up games and fashion games for Android

Dress up and fashion games are a subset of the simulation genre. Players unlock various outfits throughout the game, dress up characters, and take photos of them wearing their cute outfits. Often there are other mechanics, including puzzle, simulation, and sometimes others. Games also tend to be more relaxed than most other game genres. There are a ton of fashion games on the Google Play Store and most of them have similar names. This can make it a bit difficult to find the right ones. Here are some of the best dress up games for Android right now.

The best dress up games for Android

Cindy’s friends in disguise

Price: Free (with ads)

Cindy’s Dressup Friends is a simple and casual dress up game with decent options. You can get a decent number of outfits as well as an unlimited dye system to change the colors to your liking. Plus, you can change the poses of the characters by limb rather than as a whole for decent overall freedom. You can even group multiple characters together in one scene if you like that. The game is completely free with no in-app purchases, but there are ads. The developer also makes Momo’s Dressup if you want something a little different.

covet fashion

Price: Free to play

Covet Fashion is one of the most popular dress up games on Android. It’s a little different from some of the ones we’ve tested. This one allows you to dress a character with all kinds of fashions like any other. However, this one makes it a shopping trip to a mall. You can buy different brands, unlock different things, and dress in different ways. The catch is, most brands are real. So you can buy, say, Calvin Klein clothes if you want. There are also social elements, fashion contests, and more. If you like a particular outfit, you can actually find links to purchase the items in real life. It’s pretty neat, actually. The only downside is the free mechanics of the game. It will either take real money or a lot of work to get everything you want.

Fabulous series

Fabulous is a series of simulation games. The games follow Angela’s story as she takes on a ton of challenges. For example, in Fabulous – New York to LA, Angela designs a dress for an awards show, but finds that she doesn’t have time to do the things she really loves. It boasts of being a time management game so that players design clothes but also try to make Angela live a good life. Either way, there are several games in the series and most of them revolve around fashion to some extent.

Glu Dress Up Games

Price: Free to play

Glu is arguably the space champion of fashion games. The studio has four huge games in the genre, including Kim Kardashian: Hollywood (linked to the button below), Kendall & Kylie, Nicki Manaj: The Empire, and Britney Spears: The American Dream. The first two are real blue fashion games. You create a character, dress it up, and do various things. Meanwhile, the other two are celebrity simulators with dress-up elements. They are some of the most popular games in the genre if you don’t mind the celebrity ties.

Dress up of the mystical prince

Price: Free (with ads)

Mystic Prince Dress Up is a simple but fun little dress up game. You create a male doll avatar and dress her in a bunch of clothes. You can do things like change skin color, mix and match different looks, and even customize things like facial expressions and height. It actually works great as a character creator for a tabletop RPG (that’s how I tested it), but it’s fun to have fun regardless. The developer has two other fashion games here also if you want something a little more traditional.

PitzMaker is a different dress-up game. This one allows you to create characters for various purposes. Some examples include table games or webtoons. The concept is however broadly the same. You create a character, design it however you want, and that’s it. You can create as many as you want and even create small webtoons with things like speech bubbles. It’s not a dress up game in the classic sense, but it’s a decent, laid back app for people who just want to make some quirky characters.

The pocket clothier

Price: $ 5.49

Pocket Clothier is something a little different. It is a fashion game where you start and run a successful clothing store. This one is surprisingly deep, and you can do things like strategically position mannequins, decide what clothes to sell, and even help clients land that big job with a nice maintenance outfit. This one is faster too, so expect a challenge as well. There are a few bugs here and there, but the game only seems to perform really badly on low-end devices. It costs $ 5.49 without in-app purchases. We recommend playing it ASAP to make sure you like it before the refund deadline expires.

Shiny nikki

Price: Free to play

Shining Nikki is the sequel to one of the most popular dress up games on mobile, Love Nikki (google play). This one came out in mid-2021 and it’s one of the prettiest fashion games to date. The developers have added thousands of fabric textures, high quality graphics, and models made up of over 80,000 polygons. As such, you need a more modern phone to take full advantage of this one. It’s also a pretty big game thanks to all the high definition textures. Fans of the Nikki series should definitely take advantage of the latest entrat. Those new to the Nikki franchise should probably take a look. You can also play the previous game. It’s linked at the top of the paragraph.

Mall girl

Price: Free to play

Shopping Mall Girl is another mall style fashion app. Players travel from store to store trying on various outfits before adding them to their collection. There are also options for makeup, hairstyling, and personal care (like facials). There is a light rhythm playing element, but most people shouldn’t have too much of a problem with that. This one also features the usual elements like fashion contests and other social elements. The game is free to play and this seems to be the cause of most people’s complaints. This one is fun if you don’t mind the cranky part.

The Sims Mobile

Price: Free to play

The Sims is by far the most popular simulation game of all time. It’s not technically a dress-up or fashion game, but The Sims contains many elements of the genre to count as one in some cases. Players build a Sim, then build that Sim’s entire life from scratch. There are also social elements as well as goals to achieve. the Sims FreePlay is also available if it does not work. Both games might be buggy for some people, but they are both generally correct.
