NKANDLA, South Africa (Reuters) – Former South African President Jacob Zuma surrendered to police on Wednesday to begin 15 months in prison for contempt of court, the culmination of a lengthy legal drama seen as a test the capacity of the post-apartheid state to uphold the rule of law.

Police spokesman Lirandzu Themba confirmed in a statement that Zuma was in custody, in accordance with the judgment of the Constitutional Court.

The Corrections Department said in a separate statement that Zuma had been admitted to Estcourt Correctional Center, about 175 km (108 miles) from his rural property in Nkandla, eastern South Africa. The television broadcast live images of his procession entering the facility.

The court sentenced Zuma to 15 months in prison last week for defying an instruction earlier in February to testify in an investigation into corruption during his nine years in office until 2018. The investigation is being conducted by Associate Chief Justice Raymond Zondo.

Police had been ordered to arrest Zuma by the end of Wednesday if he did not show up at a police station. Hundreds of his supporters, some armed with rifles, spears and shields, had gathered near his property to try to prevent his arrest.

But in the end, Zuma, 79, decided to take it easy.

“President Zuma has decided to comply with the jail order,” his foundation said, the first time the Zuma camp had shown any willingness to cooperate with the court.

It was a remarkable downfall for a revered veteran of the African National Congress liberation movement, who was jailed by South Africa’s white minority leaders for his role in his fight to make everyone equal before the law .

Zuma denies that there was widespread corruption under his leadership and he issued a note of defiance on Sunday, attacking judges and launching legal challenges against his arrest.

His lawyers on Wednesday asked the Constitutional Court to suspend the order given to the police to arrest him before midnight pending the outcome of his challenge to a prison sentence.

Zuma bowed to pressure to step down and cede to current President Cyril Ramaphosa in 2018. He has since been investigated for corruption allegations dating back to and before his tenure as president.

The Zondo Commission is investigating allegations that he authorized three Indian-born businessmen, Atul, Ajay and Rajesh Gupta, to plunder state resources and influence government policy. He and the Gupta brothers, who fled to Dubai after Zuma’s ouster, deny any wrongdoing.

Zuma also faces a separate legal case involving a $ 2 billion arms deal in 1999 while he was vice president. He denies the charges.

The former president maintains that he is the victim of a political witch hunt and that Zondo is biased against him.

Top 10 Most Expensive NFTs Ever Sold | by ChangeNOW.io | The capital | Jul 2021

Shortly after Bitcoin, it became clear that blockchain technology can be used for many purposes other than transferring money. If you can prove ownership of your coins in an immutable public database, why not prove your ownership of something else? This is how NFTs emerged – a kind of cryptocurrency that shows cryptographically verified evidence that you own a work of art, Tweet, or video. The NFT boom was at its highest in March 2021 – so now is a good time to sum up and see what the most high-profile and expensive sales have been.

But first, let’s remember what NFTs are.

The key concept of NFTs (non-fungible tokens) is fungibility – this is when two items of the same type have the same value. For example, 1 US dollar is equal to any other US dollar and they are fungible. The same is true for Bitcoin: if you buy 1 BTC on ChangeNOW, it will be the same value as 1 BTC which will be sent to you by your friend.

NFTs are still cryptocurrencies, but they are not fungible: each NFT is different from each other, and they cannot be traded equally. An image, text, video, or ticket – they’re all unique, and you can hardly find two similar items among NFTs.

Non-fungible tokens are stored on blockchains such as Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, EOS and TRON, and traded on NFT marketplaces like Opensea or Rarible. Ethereum-based ERC-721 and ERC-1155 are the two most popular NFT formats. Since the blockchain is transparent and public, you can see all NFTs and even download their digital copy, but only one digital address owns it. It’s like the Mona Lisa: her original belongs to and is exhibited by the Louvre, but you can find her photo on the internet and print it. Artworks, texts, videos, game characters, Tweets and collectibles of all kinds are present among the NFTs.

NFTs can be unique (like Beeple’s “Everydays”), or there can be a whole collection of them (like 10,000 CryptoPunks). Like any other token, you can send an NFT to any address on the same blockchain, which will be reflected in the public database. However, you cannot send part of it: unlike regular tokens, NFTs are indivisible.

One of the earliest examples of NFT is CryptoKitties. Launched in 2017, they rushed in: thousands of users were buying, caring for, and raising unique virtual kittens, leading to critical congestion on the Ethereum blockchain.

Much progress has been made since then. An ERC-1155 format has emerged: it makes it possible to combine fungible and non-fungible assets on the same smart contract. It works well in many games: the format allows you to own unique items such as characters, weapons or plots of land, and fungible items like silver or gold.

Since 2017, many games based on blockchain and NFT have emerged: Decentraland, Gods Unchained, Sorare, F1 Delta Time.

NFT has opened up a number of opportunities that digital ownership brings:

  • Artists can create digital masterpieces and reach a wider audience of those who watch the NFT markets. By selling their work in a peer-to-peer fashion, they return this part of the value previously retained by the centralized platforms.

Sold on February 22, 2021, $ 1.05 M

CryptoPunks is an outstanding collection of 10,000 NFTs, 5 of which are in the top 10 most expensive NFT auctions and are on our list. CryptoPunks launched even earlier than CryptoKitties – it was in June 2017 when Matt Hall and John Watkinson founded Larva Labs and showcased this collection of pixel characters. They don’t all really look like punks, but they’re all pretty creepy. At the time, they were offered for free. Soon the trade started and the first buyers paid their pennies and dollars to get a CryptoPunk. Today it is a multi-million dollar industry.

CryptoPunk # 6487 is number 10 on our list selling for just over a million dollars. She’s one of the 3,840 female punks who doesn’t have a lot of special accolades other than being totally bald and wearing red lipstick.

Sold February 18, 2021, $ 1.25 M

CryptoPunk # 4156 belongs to the category of Ape CryptoPunks, of which there are 24 in total. 4 CryptoApes are available for sale now, and the most expensive is $ 22.92 million – could be much more expensive than # 4156! Another monkey from the collection is on our list – # 6965 went for a “slightly” higher price tag of $ 1.54 million.

Sold in March 2021, $ 1.33 M

This is a fairly multifaceted NFT. First of all, this is a piece of sound art created by DJ Justin Blau, known as 3LAU. Second, there is an animation designed by a digital artist called Slimesunday. Together, they held an auction where the highest bidder could name the piece. Gunky’s Uprising is the name of the play.

Sold on February 9, 2021, $ 1.5 M

In 2020, virtual world land sales accounted for 40% of all NFT sales. This was the biggest deal – the Genesis Domain as a “Genesis Epic 9-Plot Domain” in the Axie Infinity game was sold for $ 1.5 million. This Ethereum-based virtual fantasy game allows users to breed and fight with Axies characters who own land. This offer # 7 is a plot with a strategically important position and a good view.

Sold on February 19, 2021, $ 1.54 M

This CryptoPunk 6965 with an old fashioned brown fedora hat is from that category of monkeys you already know. His kind of tired look suggests he’s not impressed with the insane NFT craze, but hasn’t stopped it from being sold for $ 1.54 million. Plus, this is its 4th sale since 2017. In May, it was offered again, this time for $ 7.22 million.

Sold on March 22, 2021, $ 2.91 M

In 2006, at the start of the era of digital startups, Twitter CEO and founder Jack Dorsey (who also later became a Bitcoin evangelist) wrote his first tweet. After being sold to Valuable objects NFT marketplace, this tweet did not become a cryptocurrency, and its buyer did not obtain the copyright for it. Buying the very first tweet gives a unique sense of involvement and helps raise money for charity – the $ 2.91 million paid by Sina Estav, CEO of a Tron-based Oracle system, was then passed on. donated to programs in Africa. Interestingly, a smaller $ 2 million bid had previously been offered by TRON founder Justin Sun.

Sold February 25, 2021, $ 6.66 M

This 10 seconds video was posted by Mike Winkelmann, better known as Beeple, shortly after it became clear that Donald Trump ultimately lost the presidential election in the United States. It depicts the naked body of the defeated ex-president lying on the ground with swear words written all over it. The Twitter bird sits on top and delivers a clear message. Passers-by don’t care.

Interestingly, there was another version of this work prepared for the case if Trump won the election. If that happened, the token would change: Trump would be depicted in a wreath piercing through the flames. That must never happen again.

Sold on March 11, 2021, $ 7.57 M

The second most expensive ever sold, CryptoPunk 7804 is one of 9 alien punks with a forward cap, sunglasses and a blowjob. We don’t know since when aliens have this skin color, but it has helped him sell for over $ 7.5 million. The first time this item was sold in January 2018 for $ 15,000.

Sold on March 11, 2021, $ 7.58 M

Another alien and most expensive punk ever sold, CryptoPunk 3100 wears a blindfold and looks like he doesn’t know what he’s doing on this list. A month after being minted, # 3100 sold for $ 2,127, with the first bid only being $ 76. Pretty cool investment, isn’t it?

Sold on March 11, 2021, $ 69.3 M

2021 has been marked by the fact that institutions as conservative as auction houses have embraced cryptocurrency and NFT. “Everyday“Is the most expensive NFT sold by the house of Christie’s: it is a compilation of 5000 digital works created day by day by Mike” Beeple “Winkelmann since 2007. The image reflects the evolution of the art of Beeple. The buyer, Indian crypto enthusiast Vignesh “Metakovan” Sundaresan, said he would pay even more for this coin: buying it made him part of the historic revolution in art perception. .

NFT is a new word both in the art world and in the realm of digital property. For artists, it’s a great tool to share their works with the public while keeping total income, while for owners, the NFT crypto token gives them the right to say, “Yes, anyone can see and download this article, and I take advantage of that fact, because the original is mine – and you can search the blockchain for it and see. “

Today, NFT markets with visual collectibles are a million dollar industry. With the plots in digital games, the images represent more than ⅔ of all NFT sales to date. However, there are potentially many other applications for NFT technology, including event tickets, digital copyrights, domain names, and more. They are now in their infancy, and the years to come will show us whether NFT will unleash its potential or stay at home purely for games and digital art.

How to change processor fan speed without BIOS

How to change processor fan speed without BIOS

A processor fan is one of the essential components to keep your computer running smoothly. The ability to regulate the processor fan will help keep your system cool and quiet. When you play games or use demanding applications, you may find that your PC is overheating or getting overly.

By changing the fan speed on your computer, you can keep it running smoothly. Most of the users prefer to change their CPU fan speed in BIOS. This is the most commonly suggested approach, although it does not always work. These solutions might work for you if you are having trouble slowing down or increasing the CPU fan speed.

Some Methods How To Change CPU Fan Speed Without BIOS

The following steps will show you how to change the processor fan speed without BIOS.

Use software that lets you control your fans.

Although you can manually adjust the speed of your computer’s fans, it is best to choose an automated alternative. In this scenario, you will need to use fan control software. An automated fan controller program will keep track of processor temperatures and, if necessary, change the fan speed on your PC.

When the processor gets too hot, a PC fan controller program will silently increase the fan speed and reduce it when it returns to normal. You can adjust the speed of the fans using several different programs. Choosing the right one, on the other hand, should be your first goal. Additionally, it would be helpful to check if the program you select is compatible with all operating systems including Windows 10.

SpeedFan software

It is one of the essential software for changing processor speed without BIOS. If your PC’s BIOS does not allow you to change fan speeds, you can use SpeedFan instead. It is one of the free programs that allows you to manage your CPU fans in more detail. SpeedFan has been around for a long time and remains the most popular fan control program. SpeedFan, despite its popularity, is a bit more advanced for novices.

If you are not a seasoned user, it may take some getting used to. If you make a mistake while using this program, it may damage your hardware. In addition, SpeedFan is not compatible with all computers. Check that it supports your machine’s chipset.

Here are some of the steps you can take to use SpeedFan to regulate your fan speed.

a. Download and install SpeedFan

To use SpeedFan, go to the official website and download the most recent version.

Once the download is complete, please install the program as usual and wait for it to start.

Allow the software to scan your computer and display all relevant information in the main window.

The main window displays the RPMs of the fans, as well as the temperatures of your CPU, motherboard chipset, graphics card, hard drive and other components.

Make sure you familiarize yourself with the different labels to know what they symbolize or represent. If you are unsure of the settings, don’t play around with them.

b. Play with some fan controls

SpeedFan is a bit difficult to use. Fortunately, you can select “Automatic Fan Speed” to have the program automatically regulate your system.

This option may not always give satisfactory results, so you should experiment with different fan settings.

To get started, select the advanced tab after clicking the Configure option. Then click on the “Chip” drop-down menu to select your motherboard chipset.

After that, make sure all the PWM mode choices (PWM mode 1, PWM mode 2, and PWM mode 3) are set to “MANUAL”.

Could you make sure the Remember this box is checked and click the OK button?

vs. Configure your automatic fan control

After selecting the Configure button, access the “speeds” page to specify the minimum and maximum RPMs for your fans.

Once you understand that, go to the Fan Control tab and create an optimal temperature curve for your processor fan.

This phase will help you determine whether the adjustments you have made have had an effect or not. You can run any demanding program to see how well these changes work.

Be sure to save all your changes; otherwise, you will have to start all over each time you restart your computer.

Finally, go to the “Temperatures” section to control when your processor fan speeds up or slows down, depending on the heat.

Make sure you choose the sensor that will regulate your CPU fan. When you look at this sensor, you will see two options at the bottom of the screen.

Now set the “Desired” and “Warning” temperatures with the arrow buttons. When you are finished, click OK.

In SpeedFan, this is how you change the fan speed. Keep in mind that this program may not be compatible with all PCs. If SpeedFan is not working on your machine, you can try the next option.

Use other software to change processor speed without BIOS

You can also try other software to change the fan speed if you are not working with SpeedFan. Below is some other software to change fan speed without BIOS.

Open Hardware Monitor software

Fan Control is another great software option for controlling fan speed in Windows 10. This program is compatible with the latest versions of monitoring hardware chips.

On the desktop system, you can customize them. It studies the temperature of the processor and the cold temperature of the sensors of AMD and Intel processors.

1. ZOTAC FireStorm software

This program is very user friendly and useful for increasing processor fan speed without using BIOS in computer. It takes advantage of a modification of the graphics card to regulate clock frequencies and VDC values. The current fan speed and temperature can be seen immediately. It is compatible with Windows 7/8/10.

2. Argus Monitor software

This lightweight app works in the background and changes and controls CPU fan speed without BIOS and monitors hard disk health. In addition, it has an NGP CPU temperature display. Windows 7/8 and 10 are supported. During the first 30 days, the software is completely free. After that, it monitors and records the hard drive temperature as well as the health status of the monitor.

3. HWiNFO software

This program is very useful because it allows you to quickly change cabinet and processor fans. Besides, it keeps track of main clock, GP when processor is in use, motherboard, HD temperature, processor power, REM usage and battery usage. RAM. In addition, it contains data on the different senses as well as on the frequency. Finally, in a CSV file, it saves the entire value report.

4. EasyTune 5 software

This program allows fine tuning of the system to improve system management using stored voltages and memory synchronizations. It comes with a controller that changes the processor fan speed without BIOS. It has a monitoring system to check the health of your computer. It comes with an overclocking mechanism which improves the overall performance of the machine. It allows the user to switch between multiple services, such as easy in advance. It is compatible with all versions of Windows. It allows configuring multiple processor fan speeds based on different temperatures and RPMs.

5. Corsair Link software

This free program also includes a processor fan speed monitor. It also displays the current temperature, voltage and frequency of the DRAM. Can be used to adjust GPU and CPU temperature and fan speed management when fluctuating. It is efficient enough to regulate the performance of the fan. It has an oriental style game interface. It works with the latest hardware and is compatible with all Windows operating systems including Windows 10.

6. Laptop fan control software

Laptop fan control is software that can be used. Gives you control of your computer, is functional and has a user-friendly interface. It appears in the taskbar after installation. When it comes to launching for the first time, newcomers will find the user interface very useful.

It displays the CPU temperature as well as the current fine speed measurement. Allows you to control the fan speed controller with a simple slider in the middle section of the main menu. When the computer starts up, it immediately launches the software. It is simple to use and compatible with Windows 7, 8 and 10.

7. Hardware monitoring software

Reliable software to control the speed of the system fans. It can maintain at least three cabinet fans. Its user interface keeps track of the maximum and minimum speeds of the CPU and cabinet fans. In addition, it contains temperature and keeps track of motherboard voltage, processor temperature, process voltage, system power consumption, and hard drive and GPU temperatures.

The data collected can be stored as a TXT file. It is basic and easy to use, and it is available in 32 and 64 bit versions. In addition, it is compatible with various operating systems as well as the most recent versions of Windows 10.

Use external fan controllers

You might want to think about using an external fan controller. You can monitor the temperature of your PC and manually regulate the processor fan speed without BIOS with a fan controller. You can help your system achieve the right mix of calm and stillness by using one of the more OK PC fan controllers. However, before you buy a PC fan controller, consider aesthetics, pin support, controls, and channels.

Conclusion

High RPMs are caused by high temperatures or a faulty heat sensor. When you use specific programs, the processor heats up, which makes the fans spin faster. Additionally, higher RPMs are louder, while low RPMs can overheat your CPU. Make sure to use a PC fan controller like SpeedFan to keep your processor temperature within the safe range. When your processor is doing heavy work, these methods will allow you to manage the fans for better cooling. So you can use SpeedFan or manual fan controls to change processor fan speed without BIO.

Net zero transition will increase public debt by 20%, OBR says

The transition to net zero will result in a 20% increase in public debt, but the damage will be less severe than that inflicted by the pandemic, according to the Office for Budget Responsibility.

The watchdog said the changes would add £ 469 billion, or 21% of GDP, to debt over the next 30 years. That’s a little less than the £ 520 billion associated with the pandemic in just two years.

The lost fuel tax will have the biggest impact on the government’s fiscal position as gasoline and diesel vehicles are phased out.

Investing in zero carbon technologies will also increase costs and this will only be partially offset by higher carbon tax revenues.

The OBR said the additional carbon tax revenue would increase by 1.8% of GDP in 2026-2027, but that revenue would decline steadily to 0.5% of GDP in 2050-2051 “because the decline emissions far outweighs the effect of the higher tax rate ”.

The fiscal response to the pandemic pushed the national debt above 100% of GDP for the first time since the 1960s.

While the budgetary costs to achieve net zero could be significant, the OBR said they were not exceptional.

He cautioned, however, that his projections were based on an optimistic scenario in which governments take early and decisive action to reduce emissions. The consequences for public finances will be serious if decision-makers delay taking action until 2030.

Richard Hughes, President of the OBR, said: “[There] is a scenario in which the government is slow to act until the 2030s. It has to manage a more precipitous and costly transition to net zero and misses five years of carbon tax revenue. The price of this delay is a doubling of the total fiscal cost of the transition.

“If no action is taken, debt could skyrocket to 289% of GDP by the end of the century.”

The OBR based its report on projections made by the Climate Change Committee, the government’s advisory body and the Bank of England.

DJI Pocket 2 is now available in Sunset White color

TL; DR

  • The DJI Pocket 2 is now available in a new color called Sunset White.
  • The case, adapters, strap and other accessories match the new color.
  • Unfortunately, you have to purchase a combo package to get a Sunset White version – you can’t buy it on your own.

the Osmo DJI Pocket came in a very traditional black colourway. It was your only option. Then, when the sequel arrived, it came in exactly the same color.

Now, however, there is a choice of color! The DJI Pocket 2 now has a white colourway aptly called Sunset White. DJI says the name is inspired by “gorgeous summer sunsets” and includes subtle hues of pink and purple (although it looks mostly white to our eyes).

See also: DJI Pocket 2 review: better than the original in many ways

Obviously, it would seem a bit silly to have a Sunset White variant of the standalone gimbal camera paired with black accessories. Fortunately, DJI is also launching a set of accessories for the Pocket 2 in the same Sunset White. However, that also means you can’t get the DJI Pocket 2 alone in white – you have to purchase the Combo Package which includes the Mini Control Stick, Cover, Do-It-All Grip, Adapters, feed, wrist strap and sling strap.

Please note that this combo is do not the same as the Creator Combo for the black model, which includes a mini tripod and a wireless microphone.

Internally, there is no difference between the black version and the Sunset White version. Since the Pocket 2 launched last year, however, there have been quite a few software updates. They brought HDR support, better autofocus, increased tracking accuracy, and more.

It’s a ROG Round Up! Three Z590 motherboards in fierce competition

Three ASUS Intel Premium motherboards go head to head

If you’re buying a new motherboard for that fancy Alder Lake processor you just bought, a trip to KitGuru might be a good idea. They just published a comparison of the mini-ITX ROG STRIX Z590-I Gaming WiF and the ATX ROG STRIX Z590-E Gaming WiFi and the Maximus XIII Hero. This provides a variety of midrange to high-end SFF Z590 implementations, and might help you make up your mind on what to evaluate.

All three motherboards were tested with a Core i9-11900K, 32GB DDR4-3600MHz, RTX 3080 and a WD Black SN750, the only big difference was the Adaptive Boost from ASUS. It seems that trying to use both XMP and Adaptive Boost memory settings is a bit of a problem. ASUS is currently working on a BIOS update to resolve this issue, but this is the reason why only the STRIX Z590-E Gaming WiFi has both Boost on and Boost off results. This is rather disappointing as the tuning has a noticeable effect on performance.

Looking at the Boost off results, the performance of all three motherboards is essentially the same. There are slight differences but not noticeable and for the most part fall within the margin of error that exists in these tests. This makes the functionality available on each of the cards the main deciding or disruptive factor and KitGuru explains everything in his review.

By Leika Kihara

TOKYO (Reuters) – Japanese bank loans increased at their slowest annual pace in more than eight years in June, as demand for corporate funds to overcome coronavirus-related cash constraints calmed, reported data from the central bank showed Thursday.

Total deposits deposited in commercial banks continued to rise and hit a new record last month, data showed, as businesses and households suspended spending.

The numbers underscore the view that many companies are emerging immediately from the pandemic, but retaining cash flow amid the uncertainty surrounding the economic outlook.

“Bank loan balances remain at high levels, but demand for corporate funds appears to be declining,” a Bank of Japan official told reporters at a briefing.

The total outstanding loans held by Japanese banks rose 1.4% in June from a year earlier to reach 578 trillion yen ($ 5.23 billion), according to data from the BOJ, the slowest growth rate since January 2013.

Big banks saw their lending decline 1.6% last month, recording the first year-on-year decline since November 2012, as some large borrowers paid off their loans on higher profits.

Total deposits held by banks amounted to 834 trillion yen, reaching a new record.

Japan has not experienced the type of explosive COVID-19 outbreaks seen in many other countries, but has recorded more than 800,000 cases and 14,800 deaths.

Slow vaccine deployment and a resurgence of infections are expected to force authorities to impose another state of emergency in Tokyo until August 22, putting further pressure on a fragile economic recovery.

Assassin’s Creed Infinity Confirmed | Ubergizmo

Ubisoft offers Assassin’s Creed games quite regularly. The company initially released the game on an annual basis, but then tweaked it to be slightly more jagged, but it’s still one of their flagship franchises, so it’s really a matter of knowing when the next game starts, rather than if.

That being said, for those eagerly awaiting the next Assassin’s Creed title, following a Bloomberg leak, Ubisoft has since confirmed and announced the upcoming game, which will be known as Assassin’s Creed Infinity. The announcement did not specify when the game will be released or what to expect, but according to the leak, it will be a live service game.

This means that instead of Infinity being a single, single player-focused title, Ubisoft could take a Rockstar-like approach with GTA 5 when GTA Online was introduced. So, instead of a single type of game, Infinity is expected to offer multiple connected settings that will look and play differently and can be expanded over time.

This is what has helped keep the GTA franchise relevant all these years, even though GTA 5 is a pretty old title. According to Ubisoft, “Rather than keep passing the baton from game to game, we deeply believe this is an opportunity for one of Ubisoft’s most beloved franchises to evolve in a more integrated and collaborative way.

Oscar-winning Anthony Hopkins’ new film to be sold as NFT on the new Vuele platform

Oscar-winning Anthony Hopkins’ new film will be symbolized and sold in a booming NFT market for films dubbed “Vuele”.

Hopkins, 83, had a famous career and won two Oscars and two Emmy Awards, starring in notable films including Silence of the Lambs, The Elephant Man, the Thor franchise and The Father.

The new feature film is called “Zero Contact” and was produced by independent film finance and production company Enderby Entertainment.

According to Enderby, the story follows five characters from around the world “connected only by their dedication to tech titan Finley Hart (Hopkins)”.

The five characters uncover a secret invention of the tech titan and collaborate to shut it down as it provides “either the solution to humanity’s problems or the end of life on earth.”

Zero Contact was produced remotely in 17 different territories during the first waves of the global pandemic in 2020, and production relied heavily on the use of Zoom to shoot scenes. The script is by Cam Cannon and should be released on Vuele in late July to early August.

“Everything about this movie is unconventional, from the way we shot it with Zoom and remote production to its cast,” said Enderby producer / director Rick Dugdale.

The film’s distribution will include up to five NFT drops on Vuele and “will include the film, plus any extras yet to be determined which would vary from token to token to create different prices.”

Dugdale notes that Enderby chose to launch the film via NFT because the underlying technology allows the company to create a verifiable “scarcity of copies of the film” and protects against piracy.

The Place du Marché in Vuele is center on movie distribution and viewing, and platform users can purchase content in crypto or fiat currency. Zero Contact appears to be the only project announced at this point, and the firm has not specified which blockchain the marketplace is built on. Vuele’s website states:

“Members will have the ability to purchase and watch highly sought-after feature films and content, including behind-the-scenes and never-before-seen footage, bonuses, exclusive Q&A, #filmobilia and more.”

There seems to be a growing trend of film and TV productions that use blockchain technology or focus on crypto narratives.

Cointelegraph reported on July 8 that a new reality show was being cast crypto users who have been locked out of their wallets. The series will offer expert consultations in crypto and cybersecurity to help users try to regain access to their funds.

Earlier this month, the Global production company AMM has announced an upcoming 12-episode series titled “Crypto Keepers” slated for 2022, with the story focused on NFTs and a competition between developers from Hong Kong and America to create a new digital currency.

In June, Fox Corp. announced the launch of a $ 100 million creative fund for NFTs to support its new firm NFT Blockchain Creative Labs.

Blockchain Creative Labs will provide dedicated NFT marketplaces for partnered shows, such as a new animated series called “Krapopolis” from Rick and Morty co-creator Dan Harmon.
